Phoenixes!
The Phoenix is not usually considered a dragon, but as a bird. However, they are very similar to dragons. They are about the size of an adult bald eagle, but with beautiful orange, yellow, and red plumage. (Occasionally they are blue, green, and purple according to some legends). They like very warm places where they can sustain a consistent fire. It is said that a Phoenix can heal a wound of any sort. It is also said that when a Phoenix dies of old age, about 50 years old, it bursts into flames and then a new phoenix is reborn from the ashes. Although, sadly, no definite evidence for this statement exists.
